Right, here I go.
Basically, 3 years ago I took out a loan (and haven’t missed a payment so far). I was made redunant from my job and lloyds agreed to give me a £1500 overdraft and I had 12 months to pay off. After my car breaking, having to move and other money commitments- after 11
months I still had not paid off the overdraft. Went to the bank to ask for an extention on the time OR borrow more on my loan. Their answer = no. They couldn’t help me. They told me to borrow off family or try get a small loan from somewhere like tesco. (yes because I have family that will lend me £1500!!! NOT!) and if they won’t give me a loan then neither will tesco or anywhere else.
So I left the bank feeling worse than ever. I couldn’t risk all of my wages being swallowed by the bank so I opened a Natwest account and having my wages paid directly into there.
I have changed all d/d over to natwest apart from loan. Basically I was going to ask can I ask lloyds to change my loan repayments from my Lloyds account
to natwest as it’s a completely
different bank and it’s a lloyds loan.
i need some help with my options. I have 2 loans which i wanna make cheaper every month as i am really struggling. I have very bad credit and dont wanna pay for more than 3 years, i only want to loan 5000. any idea what options i have?
i do not have credit cards. i got a loan out for a car a while ago and had a boob job. at the time i cud afford everything but unfortunatly had to quit my job coz i could not afford the childcare!!! I can afford both of these debts but it would just be so much easier to have 1 payment rather than 2!
I have 3 years and 3 months left on my mortgage and the outstanding balance is £23,281.10 – I can’t decide whether it would be cheaper to get a personal loan out and pay it off or whether to just stick with it. I might also look at changing lenders, although I don’t know whether or not I am under the limit for most companies to be interested in taking over the load (?) Any advice would be greatly received! Also I would like to cut down the time left to pay back if possible.
I am full-time employed, but have been in the UK for just under 2 years. Most places I look at ask for address for previous 3 years, but will not accept a foreign address. I am a British national, but lived in Ireland before I moved back. I have an excellent credit rating, but even my own bank say I have to be here for 3 years. Can anyone suggest the most likely vendor. I have tried Tesco’s, Halifax, Lloyd’s. It is for a house deposit, and if I manage to get it, the mortgage is already sorted. And my own bank will loan me the money once I can secure it on my house! It’s a catch-22!
